I paid $200 for the guy to pull it out andand had to load it in my truck. I also had to replace the rotors. For $160, I'd grab it.

Since everyone in here is talking about the 8.8.... maybe somebody can definitively answer something for me. I have an 8.8 with LS carrier. Can I run a spool, yes or no? Can I run a mini-spool, yes or no? Thanks.

94 YJ w/ stuff. All the work/money I put into it, and the comment I get most is my $20 mod: "Hand throttle?!? That's awesome."

a spool completely replaces the carrier, so yes you can run a spool

a mini-spool replaces the spider gears (the same way a "lunchbox" locker does) so no, having a LSD carrier you can't run a mini-spool, unless you replace your LSD with an open carrier
