Things You'll Need:
(2) 1 inch x 10 ft pvc pipe (I bought 3 but 2 should be enough)
(8) 1 inch 45 degree elbows
(4) 1 inch PVC tees
(2) 1 inch couplings
(4) 1/4 inch by 3 inch bolts w/ nuts
(2) 1/4 inch J Bolts
There are 2 important things to this, the part for the door hinge and the part that locks it to the door striker. Everything in the middle can be up to your imagination for the most part.
Striker Catch:
You are going to start by sanding the inside of the PVC coupling and the outside of the tube until you're able to rotate the coupling around the tube with ease.
After that you are going to want to cut about a quarter of the pipe and fitting off like this

Make sure they line up when rotated around
Next rotate the coupling so that the parts you cut off don't line up. Then drill a 1/4 inch hole for the j bolt. Stick the bolt in to make sure it lines up and everything.
The end result is something like this
*SIDE NOTE* When painting your doors I would tape off this part or be careful of not getting it inside the coupling or the part the coupling covers. It causes it to not rotate freely and will require more sanding.
Door Hinge
For this you will need two of the 45 degree elbows.
You'll need to cut the top half off of one of the sides. The end of the elbow should face inwards. You'll also need to cut off the inside corner of the cut off part so that it doesn't hit the tub when you're opening it. Then the last step drilling a hole for the bolts to go through and become the hinges.
Everything in the middle is up to you, like where to have the elbows start to go up for the top hinge and where to put the Tees to connect the top to the bottom.
**GLUE EVERYTHING AFTER THE DOOR IS COMPLETED**
Things I Would Do Differently:
First thing I would have done differently is added another support beam connecting them so that way there were two making it that much more sturdier.
I would also recommend doing it on level ground
Take your time measuring, I didn't do this. Measure carefully and it will look a lot better and be less of a PIA
Good luck and post up some pictures if you decide to do it:thumbsup::cheers2:
