Putting this together...

Ive peiced together what i want for a lift. I want the 4" suspension lift fro skyjacker (i hear they are the best), im gonna need a SYE with that but im lost what to do and how much it cost to drop the tranfer case... ive read that needs to be done if i go over a 3.5" lift. Im looking at buying the lift soon then getting everything done and over with by mid july. I need to know if im wrong in any areas. Thanks guys!

P.S. im 17 with little shop skills for a vehicle, but my dad is pretty good in the shop, he once had a jeep, could this be a good father son job??

are you planning on all that lift and no bigger tires? thats a lot of open fender well gonna be showing. to answer your question, as long as you dont change axles the stock rims will be just fine.

If you do the SYE you won't need to drop the TC. I don't agree with the Skyjacker statement. A buddy had one and he changed it out after only a year. It sagged considerably in that time. He went with the Rubicon Express 4.5 Extreme Duty. I have had Pro Comp and Superlift. When my Superlift finishes sagging out I'm going with the same RE.
