putting in a new 4 cyl...what oil?

I am swappping engines this weekend....I got a rebuilt 2.5
What oil should I start with?
Synthetic or something else?

most rebuilders will tell you regular dino for the first 500 miles or whatever the break in period is. after that, it's your call. synthetic is so slippery that you don't get a good break in to let the parts wear to each other.
