Pulling Engine Codes from a '91 2.5L

I'm getting a check engine light pretty regular now on the '91. ALTHOUGH THE CAR JUST PASSED THE AZ EMISSON TEST. Can anybody tell me how to pull the codes from the computer? I don't even know where the connector is for it. Appreciate any help, and thanks in advance.

All you have to do is turn the ignition on and off three times without starting the engine then count the check engine flashes. There are lots of web sites out there that explain what the codes mean. Good luck. Is it the check engine or maintenance required light?

Thanks for the help. The ignition off/on worked great. I got the 12 "hello" code, then a code 24 and a code 55. Now I have to find out what they mean. Any idea?

Code 12 means that the battery has been disconnected within 50 starts. Code 55 means end of test. not sure about code 24 but check out this web page. web page
Hope this helps.
Have you ever replaced the O2 sensor? That seems to be a fairly common problem. Not saying that is your cause but its worth a check.

I read the fine print on code 24 and it says it activates the check engine light. Guess thats the fault. Keep us posted when you fix it.
