SUCCESS! The 2401 pulley solved my problems. I got the new belt on today too after verifying that the pulley was going to work. Quad still swears that the 2411 (listed for a YJ) works on "everyone elses" YJ. I clearly needed the 2401. If you have a 1995, or for that matter any year YJ, and you try this swap and have issues, the 2401 (listed as for a TJ) pulley may be your solution.

Update: To anyone who does this and has issue with getting a belt that will truly fit; after some trial and error I have ended up going with a Gates Micro-V part#k060695 belt. The "stock" one that I picked up at the local parts store got snug, but not tight and after about 2,000 miles was squealing like a banchee (sp?) ... with the new shorter Gates I can tighten it up and still have room to adjust it whereas before I would have the adjustment screw at max and the belt would only be snug.

Glad it worked out for you.

It's just the pulley by itself, nothing else.

years later but same problem.

I should have read this in the beginning!! I was so pissed after I got the pulley on because I thought it wasn't going to fit, but after I doubled checked all the #'s on the pulley, I was just figuring it was an illusion and that I would see, once I pressed it on and put it in, that I was just seeing things! So, after it didn't fit, I took my cut off wheel and destroyed my alum bracket trying to make a "round peg fit into a square hole" to make up for the 1/2" of misalignment. I lost!! I'm on the phone (hold for 20 minutes) with quadratec and I stumble across your post! It all made sense than! Apparently this happens with 94' as well as your 95'. It was repeated by the tech at quadratec from PSC that this 'HAPPENS' once and while with these models anyway, I am getting sent a new pulley from quadratec... THANK YOU for your post!!

I know of your pain and frustration very well. Once you get the new pulley, all will be well. Good Luck and be sure to post back.
