Project Retro: 92 YJ w/4.6 Stroker and more!

Project Retro is now underway, with a freak trade I got this Gem of a YJ! My overall goal for this is to keep it simple, and resemble my Uncles YJ he had back when I was growing up! He is the reason I got into Jeeps in the first place. Anyways listed below are the basic starting specs.

1992 Black Wrangler YJ, 3rd owner, body and rear axle have 221k miles. However Motor, tranny, and pretty much everything inbetween has 1,500 break in miles! Speaking of motor it has a beautiful 4.6L Golen Stroker that was tuned and Dynod by Highlight Performance @ 275rwhp and 310tq. The front/Rear Axles are the popular d30/d35 however the gear ratio is 3.73 and fully open. Rebuilt ax-15 new clutch, NP231, and the interior is amazing! The drivers side floorboard has rust. Looks like water sat in the floorboard for a long time, I am not worried simple/easy fix.

Quick rundown;

Engine- 4.6L stroker
Tranny- AX-15
T-Case- NP231
Axles- D30/D35 w/3.73s
Tires- Brand new 31x10.50 Duratracs
Lift- 2.5" Rough Country with there N2O shocks.
Winch- Rough Country 9500 wireless synthetic winch!

Now for the eye candy!

First quick mod was my emergency cover. 8x12 tarp from Walmart and a bungie cord collection. The total price was $13.06 since I am to lazy to attempt the assembly of the soft top in this weather!

Hossing around a little to much and completely destroyed the transmission mount, anyways got it replaced. Also installed the 1" tcase drop.

Long story short bolts broke, had to grind some off. Propane + sparks = party!!!

Possibly have a lead on a Ford 8.8 for CHEAP! That is already built and ready to go into an XJ it will be to easy to cut the perches off and maintain the SUA setup for the YJ.

You should've gotten the 8.8 before you regeard the 35. sometimes it needs to be done that way though.
