Love the Jeep. Home builds are the best. That way you know absolutely everything about your jeep. Looks awesome keep it up!

where abouts in MD are you i noticed the AOI sticker. Im in Littlestown PA and im more then likely trading my XJ for a super nice YJ here next week if i can come up with the couple buck i need. the MC and Booster swap interest me. i noticed when i drove the YJ that the brakes felt really soft as compared to my XJ or the Rubicon that i had. did you notice a difference in peddel feel when you did the swap?
o btw, i think you chould keep those rims on the front! lol ![]()

I'm just outside Huntvalley. Im about 45 minutes from Littlestown. The MC/booster swap is one of my favorite mods so far. It did help pedal feel tremendously and I had very noticable extra stopping power. Im assuming since you're up in PA you wheel at Rausch? We should hook up sometime once ths thing is moving again.

Thanks, its definitely more satisfying than anything. Each and everything you finish is just a huge rush as you watch it all come together

Good bit of progress in the past few weeks. Got the transfer case back in with the SYE, both shafts installed, and my rear axle all tied up.
I bought a lockrite for the rear 60 but when i cracked into it it turns out the axle is actually a limited slip the the lockrite doesn't fit, oh well there goes 180 bucks... so i welded it all up and installed my new solid cover, man these things are big. Ordered my new center for the H1's from GLO, they should be here sometime this week so hopefully this weekend i can get the rims all squared away. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() And new shaft in, angler looks usable. ![]() Things left on the list: shocks, brakes, antiwrap bar, rims, wheel it

So, here are the problems I see with this build:
1. I'm married, so I don't have the time or money to do all of this. 2. I don't remotely have the knowledge to do all of this anyway. 3. You live way too far away to have you build it for me. Joking aside, you've got a great ride! I've really enjoyed the read. |
