Project "Finished" PICS
Alright guys, I just "finished" up my everything on my heep today and got to drive it for the first time since february. It took me so long to finish it because not only is this the first time doing all of this, but I had work, school, and a woman to deal with the whole time. Which you all know means the jeep came last. It was all good because I drove my little Audi A4 Turbo the whole time, which was OK, especially on gas.
Anyways, to the jeep. Here's a quick list of what I did to it: - SOA 1.5" Springs - P.O.R.C. SS SYE - XJ Front DS Cut and Balanced - Rear Ford 8.8 Axle Swap - M.O.R.E. Traction bar - M.O.R.E. E-Brake Kit (F'd up the stock jeep cables when tried to make it work with the 8.8) - Bestop Replace-A-Top - Factory Front Bumper - Nates 4x4 Rear Bumper w/ Swing Out Tire Carrier (hasn't arrived yet) - Rugged Ridge Roll Bar Padding - 4 Bilstein (IIRC) 1525 Series Shocks - "Flat" Fenders - JB 4x4 Steering Bracket w/ Extended Draglink - No Front/Rear Trackbar or Swaybar - 35" ProComp Mud Terrains - 15x10 ProComp StreetLock Wheels - F/R 4.88 Gears - And lastly, removed all the stupid "Barefootin'" Stickers Still on List: - New Speakers plus two more external speakers behind seats - Install CB Radio with PA - Herculine Interior - Make Front Stinger - 2 Fog Lights on front Stinger - Rocker Guards (maybe home made or purchased...dont know yet) - TJ Flares And for all you pic junkies...Enjoy ![]() Before: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

That looks really good. Do you know how much all of that cost? Not counting custom bumpers and stuff, just wheels, tires, axles, and lift parts.

Thanks man.
I didn't really keep a running tally, and it would take me a little while to dig up all the bills, but with the wheels and tires prolly a little upwards of 3 grand...maybe close to 4 grand, or somewhere in between. It would've been crazy expensive if I had paid someone to do it for me. I got my rear axle for $107, which is a lot cheaper than I've seen others get theirs for.

Haha no he wasn't, if he had that wouldve been the last thing he ever did.
The build time was about 3 months. If I had been able to have everything I needed all at once, no unforseen problems, and had unlimited time to work on it, it wouldve taken me a week or two. But, I didn't have any of those. The good thing about that though, was I was able to take my time and make sure everything I did was the way I wanted it and/or done correctly. Thanks guys, I haven't been able to stop staring at it . I'm pretty sure I love my jeep more than anything else

I would do it, not only do you get a bunch of clearance for free, but I think it looks cool. Measure twice, cut once...I didn't remember that until the second side. Most people I've heard using sawzalls, but I'm not really a fan of the sawzall, it tends to run away from people. Good luck.
