Procomp coil spring conversion

Hi All, I'm considering buyng a coil spring conversion for my 91 YJ. Does anyone have any 1st hand info on this? How does it ride? Any known issues with this conversion? My alternative is to buy a TJ. Thanks in advance.

PK find someone in your area or at a 4x4 event that has them. The conversion is certainly cheaper than a new TJ. You might also Search http://www.google.com
for ProComp Coil Springs and see if you can spot any reviews. What about magazine articles?

lucky you, i just got done putting in my pro comp conversion on my 88 wrangler, it still handels well, from what I expected, 6inches higher I would think that it would feel very top heavey, but it's not bad, doesn't feel like it is going to turn over easy and it does ride nice and there is a ton of more flex with the suspension, let me know if you have any more questions, give me a e-mail at snowbrdr24@hotmail.com.

Nice write up. You're one of the few I've seen with that kit. Looks like a real clean install.
So how did it do on the 'con? I feel like I'd be pounding the linkage arms on every rock on the trail. I know the guys with the long arm kits on TJ's pound the hell out of their arms, but they are pretty stout.
Are there any options available now to put that kit on upgraded axles?

Sorry, not my write up just found the link somewhere. Wish it was and the jeep too! I've been looking at the conversion for some time now and I'm still collecting info to see if it is worth the money and would accomplish all my goals.
