PRICE CHECK! Price check on isle #4 please.

Hey folks,

Time to clense the soul a bit here. Looking at starting over with a new rig or two. Pretty much did to these what I wanted to, had some fun and now want to go at it again. So I'm selling the fleet, but have so much in them after so long, I don't know what to ask for. I know I'll never get what I have in it out of the green one, but the yellow one I got for cheap.

Not committed to sell the yellow one yet, if the price is right maybe, but I'd like to see what it's worth.

Just created an account on Craiglists to list them, but have no idea what to ask. So I'm requesting your opinions on how much to list for...

Thanks,
Richmond..

Here in missouri.....

Yellow jeep would sell on the car lot for $5500-$6000.

Green jeep would sell on the car lot for $7000-$7500.

Now....with that being said...

Yellow jeep private sale here would get $4500-$5000

Green jeep private sale here would get $5500-$6000

Again...thats what they go for around here. Midwest is usually a bit more expensive than east coast...simply because there aren't as many around here like there are there. Good luck on the sales, i'm sure they will go quickly.

Yellow one... Cool, 5K is what I was hoping for..
Green one... Ouch! This is mah baby! I was hoping to push 8500.

Oh and the lights on the yellow one are 13 bucks a pair from Harbor Freight. Cheap, but they work well and look pretty decent.

The montero seats are great! Nice lumbar and bolster support, Recline nice and adjust a bunch of different ways, and their firm. They're about 1.5" higher in the butt and about 3" higher at the headrest over stock.

They bolted in directly to 3 of 4 holes using the montero brackets (was to high with the yj risers) for the 4th hole it just needed a little extension bracket, found a perfect one 2" long at Lowes, it's in the Uni-strut setction. (lighting bracket stuff)

Seats were 14 bucks each at the local boneyard. I think you'd do better there even if I gave em to ya and you ate the shipping.

You weren't kidding the other night in my build up thread. Those are real nice rigs you got there! If your not in a rush to move em go high. Tack on a few bucks because they always try to talk you down. If you live on a main road, or have a friend that does put it up for sale for a few days. When I was looking around to figure out what to price my 90 I looked at autotrader, craigslist, kbb, local paper, and ebay. Ebay seems to always fetch a higher prices. I let my 90 go for fair value on KBB.com. I was getting antsy to start my 94 build up and was also tired of the tire kickers

you got it. I want to find one that needs some love and do another frame up. It's been 6 mos since I started the yellow one and last month found a 94 for 1200. Thought it was a bargain. Turned out to be a cobbled together monstrosity of 3-4 cj's and 3-4 yj's. I dumped it off, but want one now to build and keep. (like the green one, that's been a fun project)

Think this time, i'll do sorta what you're doing but I want to go LT1 for the motor and start from there.

I may go that route myself, but not right now. I have a 95 LT1 -- machined block setup for a 383 w/ 4bolt mains, and the heads have some serious porting time in them. Just on the other side of my garage, where the outdoor plants are staying for the winter. That's my other project.

I'll trade ya another years membership for the lt1.... You can keep the plants. Thinkof it as a goodwill gesture from me.
