Is this supposed to be connected to that hose that's just dangling there. Sorry for the lack of knowledge.

Have you found the dangling vacuum line under your battery box yet?

It has one of these stuck in the end (black, not white).

If you find it just hanging around, not hooked to anything, let it alone. It is supposed to be that way.
