Nice wheels.
BTW, it looks like your cinder blocks in the rear area bit off balance. And are those flares mounted or mocked up?

Bling Bling! They do look nice. I bet you'll be scared of rocks though! I bought black wheels and two days later 2 of them came down with a case of rock rash.
What tires /size are you getting?

Thanks!
The blocks are a little tilted...but the ones on the front are tilted a little to the back...so it evens out...lol. I shook the crap outta the jeep to make sure it wasnt going anywhere...lol. The flares are mounted, but unscrew easily. I still have to fender trim. Thats my project for this coming weekend. The wheels are 15x10's with a 3.625 backspace....and 35's are going on them. Baja Claws. As for the rock rash.....suprisingly...these wheels were not that expensive. I found a great deal on ebay for them. I had the black crawlers...and wanted a little different look. Seems everyone has black crawlers these days...lol. My intent is the the "tomb raider" jeep look. When it's finished...should look something like this.... Yes, more a mall crawler than a trail rig....but 95 percent of my driving is to work and back. I want it capable....but comfortable. ![]()

Since I didnt have a tranny jack to lift the tranny into place....I had to take two ratchet straps, wrap them around the tranny, then up through the shift hole in the floorboard to the windshield bars to hold it up while I put it in place. Worked very well actually...since it allowed for free movement, and could adjust in increments with the ratcheting of the straps. Just felt a little nervous knowing that all of it was held up by the blocks...lol. As for the flares....got them on ebay from a seller with the name of aftermarket4less. Just do a search for that seller. They don't always have something for sale, but if you emailed them im sure they would fix you up. They were very prompt and great price....$200 shipped!

Not to get all "safety police" on you, but arent cinderblacks bad to use as "jackstands", especially in that orientation.
And as far as installing the tranny like that, you wouldnt find me under it. I was afraid of stuff falling when I did mine, and my Jeep was sitting on all four tires, and the tranny was strapped to a tranny jack. I'm wuss. ![]()

Honestly, you are probably right. But...here is a picture of my "workplace environment."
I had to use what was available to me. Which were cinder blocks. As you can see....I took out the tranny while rubbers still on. I basically just unbolted it...and let it down on me, then rolled it over on the ground...lol. I sold the tires/wheels....so I had no choice but to put it up on blocks. Not the best scenario, but....not much longer now!! Next spring, new shop.
