I believe my pitman arm is stock. It doesn't look like a drop pitman arm to me. I have a 4 inch lift. (i'm removing said lift, so this is a moot point really)

Finally got an 'out for delivery' status on the steering box. I might be able to get this project rolling this weekend

It's a little too far of a drive for me to come take it off the box. There's a few on ebay pretty cheap.

Let us know how everything goes. I'm putting new seals in box I got and hope to start the install in the next weekend or so. Can't wait!

Today I received the PS gear box. I don't have a reservoir yet. It appears this setup does not use a reservoir? I'm befuddled at the moment. Pictures for those who may help me in this predicament.

Whole setup:

Gear box with lines attached.

Pump. Lines attached.

Is there a way to just fill this and be done with it? That doesn't sound right to me.

Reservoir is now in my hands! Pulled it out of a 91 Volvo 940

(action shot, expect a bit of blurriness)

Reservoir:

Donor Car: (pictures for reference in case anybody else wants to get this reservoir)

And a little junk yard score:

5 bucks! just needs to be cleaned up and oiled, maybe repainted. Good to go!

Might wanna think about rebuilding the jack, they sometimes need it to function under load.

I was going to look into that. I figure for 5 bucks, even if it can't be rebuilt, I can get more money in scrap out of it lol. Right now I don't even see a brand, but I assume most farm jacks have the same basic parts.

Looks like something like this will do?

I know hi lift has a rebuild kit that's pretty specific to their jacks. I have used them twice in my life with great success.
