power steering availability

Did any of the 92 jeeps with 4cylinder manual shift have power steering.

There were a lot of "S" versions sold out there, over the years. I think the "S" stood for "Stripped".

The original purchaser had the option of power steering. I know mine didn't have it, so I converted it.

Mine did not have it. I found a 95 being parted out and converted mine.

I don't know about '92, but my '89 is an "S" model (four banger) and it came with PS.

Mine didn't, I added it. I found a seller on eBay that had everything for 160 shipped. The only thing I had to buy was a new belt and the right reservoir.

I've got a complete power steering setup if any needs it. Pump,brackets,lines,redivide and steering box just pulled it off yesterday.

sorry to hijack but can you guys tell me a little bit about adding power steering. what parts I may need? extent of work, etc. feel free to call me or pm me

'87 reg. historic, 2" bds springs, 1" boom shackles, 1" daystar BL, 31" Intereco trxus, Crager soft 8's, steel braided brake extensions, monsta liner
