Poor gearing and need some tranny work

My clutch is on the way out and the throw out bearing is about toast as well. I currently have 3.07 gears in there and run up and down a canyon almost daily. it turns 31's ok up there and struggles with 33's. In my current position i am wondering if anyone makes an AX-15 remanufactured transmission with taller gearing or if i'd need to go to a 4 speed for any benefit there. eventually i may do the axles but for now they're out of the budget.

any ideas?

Around here, you can pick up 4 banger axles (w/ 4:10 gears) for way cheap that bolt right in...you might want to check into that option.

Any 'custom' trans is going to be pricey.

probably out breaking stuff.
