Polyurethane Bushings Install

Has anyone changed over to poly bushings, If so did it make a difference ? The rubber under my YJ is pretty well shot so i'm going to try poly bushings. It seems like alot of work replacing every bushing but It's gotta be done.

Thanks

i don't think it would be too big of a deal, if you have a hi-lift jack it makes it easier to jack up the body, i have never done it so i don't know from personal experience but some mention it helps to have an extra hand.

loosen all the bolts a little but only remove one bolt at a time. you'll have to lift the body a little but not that much. if all your body bolts are in good shape it should take you an hour or two.

I just finished installing a prothane 1" body lift on my YJ about 30 minutes ago. I used a floor jack and and a 4 x4 to spread out all the weight. You will want to soak all your bolts about a week before hand. You have 11 total. 1 in the very front under the radiator. 3 along each side. 2 Up around the gas tank( I didnt see these until the very last minute). And finally 2 at the rear by the bumper. The instructions are good. Just loosen all the bolts at once and then lift one side at a time. I found a big prybar to be very very helpful. You will need a breaker bar(unless you have air tools) A 5/8 socket, a 6" extension and a 3/4" socket.
