Poison Spyder Tube Fenders

Here they are in case anyone was curious about them, and came here for info. Decided I would break down and get them after doing the cost analysis of making my own (trial and error).

Overall first impression is that they are very nice quality and very tough. I was hoping to get them painted and on this weekend, but I think Hurricane Frances is going to interupt me. Will post some more pics in this thread when I finally get around to installing them.

I posted as links... I took either 5 or 8 Megapixel pics and they were too large to see inline. I figured some of you might be interested in a close up inspection if you were thinking of buying some.

Yea, but you can zoom in and get the details. Everyone wanted to see the close up detail on my bumper I posted... thinking in advance this time. Plus, I like showing off my dirty carpet!

I was looking at their rockers....they do nice work but you'd think for the money they'd come painted or powdercoated.

I paid whatever was on their website, $400 I think.

I am still deciding on what to do paint wise. I may match them up, or I may powder coat them, or I may even Line-X them... to be decided.

As for the finished look, don't have much more to go on than the TJ's I have seen in my club, or the YJ pic below from the website.

Where else can you get them? PS is the only place I have seen them for YJ's. I was looking at $200+ dollars to make them myself, and that it if I got them done perfectly the first time around, and was able to borrow someones garage.

You just need to talk to some custom fab shops... Most of them will make them....

Didn't see them on tntcustoms, am I just missing them?

As for the custom places around me, they wanted well over the PS price.

While I have not run with these type of fenders I did look into them. I "heard" (not me in person) that some have had problems when they hit the fenders it pushed the grill and raditor as that is what it is attached to. It does seem to make sense. I went another route. My way is not the only way it is only my way.
Did I work hard enough not to piss anyone off?

BTW sorry for the trailer pic but it is hot here in the summer all runs are night runs and the pics suck. I will have some good ones soon as it cools off.

Thanks for the comment but I went to my local fab shop. I think in straight lines and could never do work like this. John at Hunter Offroad never lets me down. I can give you his address
