please help get my dana 35 c clips out

I am trying to remove my axels and I cant figure out how to get the c clips off . its on jacks no tires or drums. am i missing somthing. ps this is for my 93 zj . I am asking here because I check these topics for my 94 yj. and the yj owners are way more helpfull then the zj owners. most zj dont understand the whole jeep thing.

YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE DIFF COVER PUSH IN ON THE AXLE AND THEN REMOVE THE C-CLIP.

He meant to say, remove the diff cover, remove the pin holding the cross shaft in place, remove the cross shaft, then push the axle shafts in.

THANKS JEEPERS. I WAS TOLD ABOUT PUSHING THE AXELS IN TO GET THE C-CLIP OUT BY MY AUTO PARTS MAN, BUT THAT DOES NOT SEEM POSSIBLE WITH OUT REMOVEING THE CROSS SHAFT THAT 2 OF THE 4 SPIDERS ARE ON. THAT SEEMS TO BE THE MISSING STEP . THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY, I AM VERY GREATFUL. P.S AS I SUSPECTED I RECEIVED NO REPLYS ON THE ZJ FORUM.
