Please help

Let me start off by saying thank you I have read a lot of great stuff on hear over the years and hope you guys can point me in the right direction.
my 88 yj occasionally has no power, to be more specific, sometimes when I cut it off and go to turn it back on with key switched in on position there is nothing, no lights, nothing! other times it will turn over weakly as if the battery is dead, the starter will even click, ill leave and an hour or to later it fires rite up. any ideas?
its howell fuel injected
and just replaced the starter relay
thanks in advance

Could be a weak battery. Drive to one of the parts stores that does free checks on your battery and alternator. They can tell you right off what is good and bad. Don't even have to take anything out of the Jeep.

x100 with Jeepsr4me. You have a bad connection on the battery. Clean and or replace all the battery terminal wires and the other side where they connect. Very very common issue.

That was happening to me because I couldn't get a tight enough connection on the neg terminal, so I replaced the connectors now it works great

If everything checks out, you may want to start looking at the ICM. They can be seriously flaky before they decide to go on a permanent vacation.
