[Big-n-Broke-YJ]

Hey guys....

Recently RustyWrangler made a great point when he created a thread asking everyone to please fill out their profile information since so many of us seem to be forgetful about little details such as that....

We are all here to help eachother but it's pretty hard to do that sometimes if we don't know what we are working with. For example: If a member created a thread asking for our help with a question pertaining to an upgraded high output alternator, it would be hard to tell them what bolt-in oem upgrades are available for them without first knowing the year of their YJ because not all years are interchangeable.

It will only take a minute or two.... and you don't have to go into great detail if you don't want to... just let us know the basics!

If your YJ is relatively stock then merely telling us the year, engine, and tranny would be great!

If you have changed engines, tranny, tcase, axles, etc.... that would be good to add in there..... For example: you surely won't want to know about dana 35 bearings if you are asking questions about your freshly swapped in 8.8 and often times we forget to mention exactly what we are working on in our initial post.



To update your profile information look at the top left of the JeepForum window and click on MY ACCOUNT .





Unfortunatly, many people won't notice this new stickie up here so feel free to pass this information on to others as you see fit.... however... keep in mind nobody on here is required to fill out their profile and some may choose not to. That's up to them and their choice should be accepted by all of us. No need to rustle anyone's feathers over something so small
