Pinion shim question.

What degree measurement are the shims that come with a BDS 3.5" lift? I'll be doing a SYE conversion and I want to get the right shims for the DC shaft I'll be using with it.

I talked to my parts supplier and they recommended an 8* shim for the lift I have with a SYE kit. I'll post agian if it doesn't work out.
