Me thinks you should've removed the carpet and drain plugs before that mudhole.

Observations:

1) Fewer rides WITH winches wind up stuck waiting for a pull
2) In MANY of these "Stuck" pictures, there is little, if anything to winch TO.

So - I'm thinking that an investment in a winch and a PullPal would be warranted

Stock 87 with 235's and a underbumper winch!! Water wasn't deep! Only about a foot, but mud was deep! Notice the Underwater winch too!! I'm gonna move that to the top of the bumper!

I would have made it out fine if my engine didn't flood. Somehow just enough water splashed into my intake and killed it. I couldn't get it to start up again and had to be towed home. After a day of sitting it was able to start up again. Needed a new 02 sensor after that and my alternator has never been the same.

Wasn't that deep of a hole (didn't go past my lug nuts) nor was I going fast when I hit it. Just bad luck I suppose a bit reluctant to go in any mud/water now.
