Pics of my 95 YJ

Here are a few pics of my YJ that I just got. As far as I know it is stock except for the lift. I do not really like the bumpers or the nerf bars so they will most likely end up for sell in the near future. Would like to get some bumpers more suited for rock crawling. Also would like to do a SOA with RE 1.5 springs. 7" of lift would be about all I am looking for. Maybe put a disked 8.8 in the rear. And of course get rid of the I4 when money would allow. now on to the pics:

Almost forgot, bigger tires and new wheels are planned too!

Nice Jeep. Lots of potential. Sounds like you have big plans for it - excellent.

Would you enjoy making your own bumpers & rocker protection if you had access to all the tools/welder/press etc? My garage is usually open to fellow Jeepers and metal supplies are a short drive from me.

My POS is SOA on the RE 1.5 leafs & I tossed an 8.8 in it. I ended up with ~7.5" of lift & plenty room for 35's.

BTW: Is that a Tough Stuff Products hilift holder? The owners are friends of mine.

Thanks guys! Yeah the bumpers look good but will not last long with the kind of stuff i like to do. The tire carrier is not stock, dont know where it came from but I will look into it more. I was sure that the spring hangers were not stock, I think they are too long. I measured 23 1/2" from ground to rocker and 25 1/2" ground to bottom of the frame right behind the front bumper. Since I read that stock is 18" I guess that puts me at about 4"- 4 1/2" of lift. Not sure on the lift brand either. BTW the scull has red led's in the eyes that light up when I apply the brake. Cheesy but cool at the same time!

That is an AFRIM! The only prob is I have NO fab skills. I have a HF wire feed but it sucks. I have made a few passes with a mig and think I did alright. As soon as I free up some money I will be giving you a call! Do you take beer in trade for time on the tools? On the hilift holder, i am not sure who makes it. The Jeep sits just as I bought it. (well I traded a 90 bronco for it straight up)

PM me your number & we'll chat. I have been known to do that. I took this pic as a joke.

That's my old MIG welder in that pic (Hobart 135 Handler). I now have a MillerMatic 175, 220V MIG & run an Argon/CO2 mix tank.

No worries on the fab skills. I'm not as good as I use to be since I don't weld for a living anymore - but I do okay.

Depending on how you like the bumpers built, metal should be ~$50-$60 for both bumpers & the rocker protection ~$30-$40 including angle iron, tube & sandwich plate for materials where I shop for my steel.

I think Joe is right here. While I could not find any name stamped on it it does look the CC ones I looked at online. As far as lift shackles, I think they are. They don't look right to me.
