it really wasn't that hard. I just looked at some motor mounts that z and m convertions are making for that swap and from the pic on there web page just got out the welder and made some of my own. it was easy.

Hey, v8, nice taste in wheels! LOL I have had the same style/set for the past 8 years, they just keep moving from Jeep to Jeep, and get new rubbers once in a while. I love the solid wheels, personally, not too many of us out there with them on Jeeps.

They're going on my '77 CJ-7 I'm working on in my signature. My old T-18A from my last Jeep is going in this one today behind the 360ci

Then, I have to get surgery in a week, so my CJ as to be on hold for a while , which is why I am getting the tranny in now, it'll be the last "heavy" job I have to do to get it on the road. Once I recover, it'll be all relatively light work (finisha few odds/ends in engine compartment, and do some quick body work). It's not gonna be a "pretty" CJ, by any means, but will be mechanically perfect, and be Nice and Ugly, in a cool way, LOL (using Bedliner inside & out for durability and to hide the inherent body imperfections from previous owner's work, LOL).

ya i love those wheels they stay so clean and they are tuff too. I have always liked them too. I had a set like them on my old ford truck and then on my mustang too. all diffrent bolt patterns so now i have like 3 sets of diffrent bolt pattern wheels. LOL sounds like your going to have some fun with your cj

Yeh, it should be fun, I took some pics of it last night, when I get them loaded onto a site, I'll put a link, so you can laugh I looked at the pics last night, and it looks much worse than it really is. You'll see what I mean about it not being pretty, but it'll look much better once I clean it up and whatnot. I havent even hosed anything off since I got it in trade, so it has a lot of the mud from the last owner's previous "expeditions". <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

mud pics are always fun. A few weeks ago I took mine out and covered the thing in mud I really should have took some pics. there was about 3 inches of mud on the hole jeep the only thing that you could see that was red was part of the windsheild. I don't know how much exstra weight i was packing in mud but man it road so smooth on the way to the car wash. LOL
