The manager at the base auto hobby shop(if they have one) will become your best buddy.
I would do a complete brake rebuild now before you leave, it will save you problems down the road.

not to hyjack this thread but, since lifting my YJ the park brake cable on the passenger side is now too short and does not reach the bracket on the driver side frame rail, anyone know of a replacement cable part number that is a couple inches longer?

so the YJ right rear cable dimensions are 66.63 inches overall and 58.56 inches at the sheath itself, does anyone know of a cable with the same crimped ends and the same sheath ends, just a couple inches longer?

Why not call the company that manufactured your lift kit? They must deal with this often.
