Don't know if the product is any good or not, but Dupli-color makes a wheel paint. Check out their website duplicolor.com. They have videos of application of their various products. I imagine surface prep would be your greatest concern. Good luck.

i'm not 100% on this but i think there's a special type of primer (etching primer?) that you need to use. maybe try chcking out some sites that sell alum tubs or something and see what their recommended prep is.

What color are you looking to paint them? If you're looking into the ubiquitous black rim look, then just buy the AR767s or Daytona fakes for like $40. Save yourself the agitation and painting woes.

Well, I work a 14 days on and 14 days off schedule so time is not a problem and I was thinking of making mine look a little different. If I don't like the way they turn out I can always buy the new rims later.

I painted my stock rims, didn't even use a primer, just scuff the rims with sand paper so the paint will stick. I got a really good finish, just spray alot of light coats.
