overall height

I'm getting ready to redo the lift on the YJ. I'm running 33's and want to do a 4" lift, but I am worried about it fitting in the garage. Can any one with a 4" lift and 33's measure the height to the top of the windshield frame for me? THANKS!

measure *your* Jeep now... then add 4 inches. There are way too many variables for someone else's numbers to be even considered.

Not all jeeps are built the same. Not all 33's are the same height and 4" in lift height is anywhere from 2.5" to 5".

The only problem with measuring my jeep now is it has a sagging lift on it. I have 82"s of clearance for the door. I just want a ballpark estimate to make sure it fits.

Stock to the rocker panels is 18" with 28" tires. So 33" tires would move it to 21" roughly and adding a proper 4" lift to 25". Measure from your rocker to the top and add 25". See if that works.

One thing I did with my garage is adjust the top stop so it opens farther. My YJ is +/- 84" to the top of the cage and I have about 3 inches of clearance on the garage door and opening.

if its close afterwards let the air out of the tires on the inside..back out...air up on the outside...or get a bigger door if needed
