I think it is a personal taste thing. I have lots and like the way my rig looks, others don't. Many say chrome never get ya home, and this is true.

IMO do what you like and forget others opinions, after all, it is your rig!

IMO, I think it looks 100x better without it.

I think the black really compliments your Jeep color very nicely.

When I first got my heep, it was basically chromed out, it took a little while, but I eventually ripped it all off and started new.

Chrome just seems too pretty or something.. Again, this is my opinion.

I think it really depends on the jeep, and about the amount of chrome were tlking about. IMO your jeep looks really good with the chrome, but then again its not my decision

My humble opinion, worth what you are paying for it...

I love the color of your Jeep. If you intend to make it a street Jeep look, keep the chrome. Bling belongs on the street. It looks cool.
A lot of chrome makes it look like you are not serious about off roading, even if you are. Again, my opinion, not everybody's.

I like it without the chrome. The wheels are enough bling.

When you put a lot of chrome on it, it screams "look at me".
Without the chrome, it screams "I can go where you won't".

So as said by the other posts, it's your Jeep. What do YOU want for it?

You've got a really nice looking Jeep either way you go. Street or dirt.

Yours is one of the few Jeeps I've seen that I like the chrome on. IMHO, if your going to go W/O the chrome, it would look best with it all gone (hood) and some black wheels. But since those are good looking wheels and they work well with the chrome hinges I think I'd keep it all.

I've been on the internet too much lately. Now, even I'm beginning to think that "breaks" are what you use to stop your Jeep.

So there's no decision to be made here.

It's a good looking Jeep either way. If you loose the chrome hinges, loose the chrome hood latches too.
Here's a look at them together.... YOU decide.

just my two cents. if it was my jeep i wouldnt prefer chome or black (due to the paint color of yours) I would have a body shop paint them to match the color of the paint. . .

Well, around here it has to be stainless steel (chrome will rust in 1-2 winters...D**n salt). I'm kinda backwards, my DD has no bright work (except wheels) and my trail rig has ss frnt and rear dble tube bmprs and bright dmnd trd rear corners. It's like everyone already said, "personal pref". IMHO I like it w/ the chrome.
