I did. Not a full 1" or whatever they sell, but I did need about 4 washers. Call me crazy, but that fixed my vibes.

EDIT: forgot to mention that I finally put on a 1" MML/BL and was able to remove the t-case drop.

it will be fine w/o it, but if your jeep is garbage and you get vides, then put it on

I would never put a transfer case drop on. They are too low in the stock position.
