Operating Temp.....

Just wondering what temp your 4.2's with a 5 speed normally run. And what temp t-stat you are running. I was running a heavy duty 195 degree t-stat during the winter months and now that it's getting hot out my poor baby is running a little warm.

vw60 i have a 87 w/ a4.2 .the normal operating temp should be around 210 degrees. that is with a 180 degree thermostat.i've tried a 160 degree and it runs too cold. you should be good with a 180 degree all year round.
