onboard air system by nitrogen?

has anyone ever heard of an on board air system that instead of a compressor and tank, was just a nitrogen tank? i'm thinking about mounting a 40 gallon nitro tank on my wheel well. obtaining the tank and nitrogen is no problem for me but how would i go about doing this?

How interesting that you got no response after all these years. I am considering a nitrogen tank mounted horizontally in my Jeep. Have been told it is a little cheaper than CO2, but needs to be refilled a little more often. I'm thinking the advantage of being able to mount and use horizontally and have a larger tank will be worth it.

Any feedback is welcome.
