OME spring narrow?

I'm digging into my 36R install and noticed that my daystar bushings and bushing sleeve stick out about 1/8 inch on either side of the spring eyes. I measured the width of the spring eyes compared to the factory springs and they are narrower. The springs are all marked 36R, 2 of them have a 0 at one end and the other two have a - sign. What gives? Is this ok?

Also where can i buy JUST the main eye bushing sleeve?

Factory measure 2.5 inch at the eye. The ome 36R measure 2.25 inch at the eye.

sounds like they might be made incorrectly? They should be 2.5" wide

My 14fs are 2 5/16 inches as best I could see. I would not worry about it.

I also had to get new bolts and sleeves as they where beyond usable after I got them out. I think I had to order two or three times to get all the extras after I started tearing into it. Bushings are the same size as stock.

I've got greasable bolts/sleeves/bushings that I installed a year ago or so. They are a pain to remove. Don't want to invest in those again and saw no real improvement. Ill prob just get standard bushings/sleeves

Just checked to see if I had any leftovers, sorry I don't. I could swear I had some though, if I find them soon I will let you know. I think your springs are fine though.

OME 36R are 2.25"
Use the OME bushings. The set includes two different sizes. The bushings with the thicker shoulder go on the shackle end spring eye. The bushings with the narrower shoulder go on the frame.

I was not intending on using the ome bushings. I know stupid, but i dislike the yellow. Was hoping to use something in black. They are OEM size so any bushing that works wirh factory springs SHOULD work.

Daystar makes bushings that will work in the OME springs.

I had the same issue when I installed my OME springs. Called them and they said to use their bushings. I am sure some of it is product push, but everything went together without any issue.
