Any body using them?

Like the rock it?

I build a skid-row-alike myself for about $50 bucks in metal and wire.
Arguably maybe not as tough as the skid-row, but then it wasn't 300 bones either.

its just a 1/4" piece of angle welded to my motor mounts

For allot less than $62.00 plus shipping, you can get your own ".125 / 1/8" thick piece of steel and glue it on. And be just as protected.

Just saying....
