There is a small drip in the middle of my oil pan. I have replaced the gasket and snugged down all the bolts thinking that was the problem but its the pan itself.
My question is...is there a product that I can seal the pan with (like JB weld) but I was looking for something a bit better. My luck with JB hasn't been good.
It *can* be brazed. Porous steel that has sucked up alot of oil can be a total pain to weld though.
You also might have luck by using a product such as Devcon Plastic Steel to fill the hole.
I used JB Qwik to seal up my gas tank. Worked well for me.
