You should have your PVC hooked up. Placing just vents ontop of the valve cover is not the answer. The PVC helps to pull exhaust out of the crankcase which is what causes your oil to break down. By saying theres oil ontop of it do you mean its leaking out your "vent"

arrghhh.....its PCV.....Positive Crankcase Ventilation!!!!!, put in a new PCV Valve and replace all the filters air, breather, whatever. then you should be ok. the back 90 degree elbow just hooks to the breather filter and will shoot out oil into it if the PCV Valve is clogged. it does't have any chevk valves in it, but check to make sure it isn't plugged while you're there.
happy hunting.

there is oil on top of my vaulve cover yes. and i think it is comeing from around the vents or the oil cap.

I'd guess the oil is coming from around your vents then. I'd replace the vent with a PVC system it does more than most people think.

Your 93 has ccv not pcv. The hoses that go from your valve cover to the manifold and airbox are clogged or missing. Fix them and you fix your problem.

Yup, blow out those vent lines and put some Sea Foam into the holes in the valve cover to clean out the gunk. Better to remove valve cover and clean it , but the Sea Foam works and is less time consuming. You'll need to change the oil a few days after this also.
