Off With The Body Lift!

Ok I am about to remove this goofy 3" body lift put on by the PO. I have been soaking all the bolts in PB blaster and about ready to begin the removal. I have not done a body lift on a YJ, but have on a TJ. As I recall the TJ lift had an extended piece in the steering shaft as well as brackets for the radiator and T-case. I know I have drop brackets on the radiator shroud, but unsure of the PS extension or the T-case bracket. Anything else I need to look out for when lowering her back down. Going from a 3" mess to a small one inch body lift/body mount replacement by Daystar.

Thanks

Keith

Nice to hear your removing that mess! Sounds like your on the right track to bringing her back down to earth..... One other thing to check is the fuel filler hose. On 3in BL's the filler hoses are often extended, so you may need to shorten the hose a bit if they lengthened it.

10-4. Now just to figure out what to do about the suspension. I'm looking around for lifts, found a RE 4in kit in the 800s. and a Fabtech 3.5 in kit in the 700s. I'll be using some boomerangs as well with 5/8 in lift. I'm leaning towards the Fabtech lift. unless steered elsewhere.

Also check for any non stock wiring that may have been ran under the tub etc...
