nutter by-pass problem

Has any body done the nutter bypass and then have the spark plugs start to foul in about 100 miles. I did not have this problem before I did this so I am wondering if I did something to cause this to happen. I hooked the orange wire from the distributor to the orange wire on the spark box and the purple wire from the distributor to the purple wire on the spark box.

Did you reset your timing? Set the carb pins to full lean?

yes I did set the timing. I have a webber on it and no I did not reset it. would I set it to the lean setting to?

With the Weber you have to follow their directions for setting the mixture. You may have to re-jet depending on what you have

I would also use manifold vacuum not Ported. I would also say install a 1983 pre smog distributor with light springs to bring in full timing at around 2200 rpm.
