Nutter Bypass Question

Ive got a 87 wrangler 4.2L. I plan on doing the nutter bypass soon to eliminate the computer. What i was wonder was if i still needed the computer for the torque converter to lock up? Or does it not have a locking torque converter?

Don't think you do. Someone with more experience will chime in.

Sent from my phone because I'm doing something "more important"
