Np231 front output shaft seal replacement ?

My from output shaft seal is leaking, so I just got a new one. I haven't had any luck searching for how to actually replace it.
Can I reuse the nut? What should it get torqued too? And hints as to making it easy to change?

The change is pretty straightforward. Remove the u-joint straps drop the shaft and then you need to remove the yoke. Do you have a compressor and air gun. If not it could be tough to get the nut off the yoke. Once removed use a seal removal tool about $8 at NAPA makes it very easy. Install new seal using something round larger than the center hole to tap it in with or the old fashioned way with a ballpeen hammer and gently work it in. Tough to get started but once started hammer until it is seated in the case. Reinstall yoke. Yes you can reuse the nut and rubber washer but always good to have new on hand. Torque is high 110 ft/lbs. Reinstall front shaft check T-case servicing.

best bet for torque on the yoke nut is a pipe wrench on the yoke to have it push against the frame/body. Impact gun air or electric is best/easiest bet to get it off. you will need an extension unless you remove the skid plate.
