NP-231 to NP-242 swap

I will be doing this swap this weekend, and have a quick question. The 242 is coming out of a 99 XJ, and therefore doesn't use the vacuum switch for the front axle. I have already permanently locked the CAD, so can I just remove all of the vacuum lines from the transfer case to the front axle, and plug the vacuum line from the engine?
