Second to last contest of the year for the Yj section so lets make these count!! I would first like to apologize as my schedule and lack of a working computer has delayed the contest. Second, I would like to thank Metalcloak for all their support of the contest and I'm telling you guys that if you want some hardcore fenders that take a beating and will make your jeep a magnet for lady-love then give them a call!!

Don't forget to vote in the other contests too!!

Rules for voting:

Post when you vote or it will not be counted

No soliciting votes from within JF or outside JF

No promotion within this thread will be permitted via more pictures. We have PMs please use them

SSRx7

YJ year of production: 1988 with parts from 81,85,91,93, and 94 thrown in.

Specifications and modifications:
3" unknown spring lift, with new Energy Suspension Poly bushings
31x10.5 BFG All Terrain KO's on black classic D's
CJ Hard top and doors,
4.0/AX15/ 231 swap,
Hayden 16" electric fan, and belt driven fan delete
Posilock front axle disconnect.
Removed front and rear track bars
Homemade swaybar disconnects
Homemade highline hood/fenders.
Homemade skidplate drop spacers
Sidetrax rails
3" Double tube front and rear bumpers
Cobra 29LTD Classic CB, Garmin NUVI GPS

MODs to come: Lockers front and rear, Rear D44, SYE, regear to 4.10's, 33's, winch, and expedition rack.

I traded a large tool box for it. It was not running. Instead of the 5 to fire harness splicing, I rewired the whole jeep with a harness bought on ebay, so there are no cut wires. P/O did the highline setup.. It is my daily driver. I traded for the cj hard top and doors, and have slowly been building it into my exploration/expedition rig.

-Brief history of your jeep and how it came to be. (optional)
After having owned a '95 YJ for just over two years, we had to sell it due to frame rot. From the day I sold "Lazarus" I vowed that I would again have a Wrangler in the driveway and preferably a YJ. It took over 18 months of casually scanning Craigslit, local ad magazines and curb side for sales to find this gem. She's a cream puff - no doubt. The previous owner garage kept her every winter and only engaged 4WD once a year to make sure it engaged if he ever needed to. With such a pampered life, she is 100% clean. Not a spec of rust to be found (which is virtually unheard of for a Midwestern vehicle). I took her home on Mother's Day 2012. From that day I've been working on getting her trail ready. Maintenance like crazy including all fluids, tune-up, Herculining, new tires, double and triple checking everything along with a few toy type add-ons like a killer sound system to drown out the wind when running topless/doorless as she did from the day I got her until the temps dropped below freezing at night. She was devirignized at Bundy Hill off road park November 3, 2012 and will see her first Jeep Jamboree June of 2013 on Drummond Island. Unfortunately I was solo on her inaugural run, so the only pics of her on the trail are really crappy or poser shots. The capability shots come on her next run when I've got a shotgunner who can take pics for me.
-Three pictures [IMG] tags embedded onto entry
