New to site----question

I have an 89 YJ and want a hard top and doors for the winters here in utah. I found a 93 jeep for sale that has the hard top and doors but the passenger door window pillar is corroded at the bottom. The price is good and there is various other parts on the jeep that I would like to swap out----My question is ---does anyone know if you can buy a repair peice to cut and replace this bad peice or are they not repairable? Thanks.

Any fabrication shop in your area should be able to grind out th rust and repair that piece - depending upon how bad it is. Can you post up a picture of the rusted area? There are many forums members here that can tell you exactly how difficult or easy it would be from the images.

Thanks guys----I think im going to pass on it and find something else. Even if I fix the rust, it will probably return unless I cut it out and replace with another piece.
