new here 302 swap

I'm selling all the stuff out of my jeep. One guy wants the computer box out of it. I don't need it as I'm going with a carb . Will my turn signals and starter switch still work?

Next I'm running a 302 and running a ford c6 transmission. Wondering what headers to use, looking for something reasonably priced and yes I've searched. and wood like to c pics of the wiring for the starter ??

Thanks for the help timmy

How much horsepower are you going to be making with this 5.0? The C6 will likely be overkill for this project and the C4s are pretty strong/good/cheap/easy to find and......... smaller. Would be easier getting exhaust headers and all in with a C4 most likely. Should be able to cell the smallblock C6 for a little coin too to help with your projects. That is unless your dead set on having it.

^^^ what he said. Bad things about the C6 is 3 inches longer, eats more power than a C4.

4x4 c4's that don't need a main shaft swap to make work are very hard to find. I looked for almost a year and didn't locate one. Might be regional.

Use shorty mustang headers.

Edit.. There is very little front drive shaft clearance. Just keep that in mind. When picking a trans case.

I saw a bunch shorty headers on eBay when I was looking. That 1456 is chain driven, right?
