If you increase your airflow, and get headders you need to replace the cat. and muffler with a high flow system as well. You should replace those first. All that increased airflow needs a place to go. As far as installation of the headders. There is a lot involved. You have to remove a lot of stuff inorder to get to all the bolts and fit the new one in. It's also an integrated head so the intake has to come off as well. You need the right tools and there is a chance of breaking the bolts which then needs to be drilled out. A lot of people here have done there own, but I chose to have a shop do it. It took them about 3 hrs in labor. I did the muffler and cat. myself and it was a PITA.

what? No one even refered to the manifold as being a header. And both terms header and headers are used synonymously. Depends on the way it's used. Some people refer to it as a header because it is one system and others refer to it as headers because of the more than one pipe coming off the of the head. Either term is technically correct and it can be used either way. I can't believe I've even responded to this. There should be no defending on this subject. He just wanted to know if it was a PITA.
