New Guy with New YJ - 1991

Learned to drive in a 1940 something Jeep. Always had a soft spot for a Jeep.

Picked up a well used 1991 YJ 4 cyl 5 speed.

Many electrical shorts that were keeping most of the electrics from working. By reading many posts here I have got most of them fixed. Took a while to find the reverse and speed wires from transmission had hit the exhaust and melted together. Once those were fixed and many contacts cleaned, it cleared up many electrical problems.

The picture makes it look better than it really is. Pretty rough inside but runs fine.

1/2 the fun of owning a YJ is you always have something to work on.
