Why would you even consider working on the Jeep with it like that?
I can imagine what the underside is like. Have fun getting mud on you while working

It's funny you say this cause just last week I got a lecture from my muffler man for having mud in the undercarriage when I took it to the shop.

Here is a pic of my stock YJ with 31" Goodyear MT/R's. The only thing I did to make 'em fit is remove the fender flares. I think I'll add a 1" boomerang shackle lift and call it done.

Looks good man, I haven't seen that exact setup before. The booms will give you more flex, that will be nice.

Not to hijack the OP thread - your YJ is cleaning up really good.

Good simple idea mate! Removing the flares.. Illegal I think, but no matter hah

Main reason for the lift for me anyway is just to replace all that 20 yr old stock crap underneath so I don't need to worry about it to much..

I'm not sure I could get away for long without any flares on my soon to be DD haha. If I had the money I would have gone with metalcloaks.

Shes running pretty good. Not hitting mach speeds but its doing its job. I dont usually ever take highways. Mostly country roads so no worries. Might be taking it out to a orv park with a few buds this weekend.
