new clutch and nutter...done and fuel gauge?

so first off i would like to tell everybody a huge thank you for helping me with the ax15 and convincing me to keep it. the shifter was put in wrong before and thats why i was having trouble shifting it feels like a new trans now. and just done the nutter bypass and the jeep used to fall on its face while cold and now it has power still.. and when its warm it has so much more power under hood looks so much better. very happy with the luk clutch and the nutter. but now to a new topic my fuel gauge doesnt work can somebody point me in the right direction for it.. i do not think it has power because when key on it doesnt even attempt to move? i know it worked when i first got the jeep??? what should i do?

use a test light and got to the rear harness (passenger side behind the tire... I think there is a plastic cover like thing) and check there with the key on for power. You should get a blinking light. start with that

I took the hole dash apart and the thing that commects all the wires together were all corroded and i tried my best to clean them and the oil pressure is fine now the volts re fine but now the gas gauge just pegs right over and its not sitting at e now but i kno for a fact that its about half tank because i jus put 10 gallons in it when i ran it out of fuel tuneing the carb after the nutter
