Need Serious Headlight Help!!

My friggin headlights randomly shut off at night when i'm driving, not only is this dangerous but it pisses me off. I'll just be drivin along and they will shut off, then i fiddle with the switch turning it on and off, i took the switch out and cleaned and tested it and i works fine, what else could it be please help!?

replace the switch. mine did the same thing and even though the switch checked out fine, it was still the cause. as it heats up under load it starts acting up. cold it works fine. only 25 bucks from the dealer.

I have this problem with my driving lights...it has turned out to be a loose connection in the fuse cluster. I wiggle it around and they come back on. Go figure...

Good way to tell: Does the switch get hot to the touch? If so then that's your problem.
