Need rear drive shaft

I have a 1990 Jeep Wrangler. It has a manual transmission and is a 6 cylinder. I measured it from u joint center to u joint center and it was 13.5 in when i had it installed. Is this the correct way to measure it? and does anyone know where i can find one??? HELP
